Team 800 responded to mitigate and contain a reported ammonia spill at General Products Inc. in Murrysville. Two chemicals were found to be leaking one containing morpholine and another with aqua ammonia at 29% concentration were involved.

HAZMAT personnel were on scene for 2 hours to assist in mitigating an oil spill in Loyalhanna Township on Tunnelton Road. An oil filled tote was punctured inside a non-placarded box trailer causing it to distrbute a swath of oil completely covering the highway and bridge over the Conemaugh River.

A vehicle accident involving a coal truck and minivan provided many tasks for several departments responding friday morning. The flipped coal truck poured it's load over 3 lanes of traffic in East and West bound directions.
Team 800 called to assist in mitigating fuel oil that may be running into Sewickley Creek. Engine Captain 26 requested Team 800 to the scene and DEP was requested by Director 50.

Tractor trailer accident involving 2 tractor trailers was reported. Police reported alot of fluids on the highway and that a fuel truck was involved. The fluids were from the saddle tank and mitigated by first arriving fire response.

Minor vehicle accident at the entrance to Eastgate Plaza involving a vehicle that ruptured the side of a Tractor Trailer saddle tank. Team 800 pumped stopped the leak and pumped off the saddle tank into recovery drums.
