Team 800 responded to assist the local fire department in mitigating a motor and gear oil spill from a tractor trailer accident that involved a passenger car, pick up truck and several vehicles in an automobile car dealership. The team provided support as the reconstruction and cleanup took place throughout the day. The spill covered most of the state route and the load was monitored for any hazardous conditions as it was hauling SMW Solid Municipal Waste that is considered non-hazardous.

Team 800 responded on 1/14 to a fuel spill involving a reefer trailer diesel tank that was damaged when the trailer had become disconnected from the tractor. Team 800 assisted Station 26 with mitigation as needed and remained on scene until the trailer was lifted for further assessment.
